Birch radio is the community radio of Rochdale. It broadcasts on Patientline Channel 6 in the infirmary and at Springhill Hospice.

Operated by music and broadcasting enthusiasts, Birch Radio offers chart mixers, country music shows and much, much more.

Birch Radio provide also coverage of all Rochdale AFC's home games from Spotland Stadium throughout the football season and a majority of away games too!

Bitch radio always maintains an open line to the Rochdale community, taking requests all day long, and organizing a variety of events and roadshows.

Presenters include Big H, Steve Bewick, Merrilyn Brierley, Bob Chadwick, Gail Champion, Jonathan Clegg, John Foster and Chris Younie.
